Join Our Team – Accountant
Astute Advisors is a growing, multi-location accounting firm delivering expert services in Business Services, Tax Compliance, Auditing, and Bookkeeping. We’re looking for a motivated Accountant at a medium to senior level to join our team and take their career to the next level. You’ll work closely with a supportive manager who values mentorship and professional growth.
Your Role
As an Accountant at Astute Advisors, you will:
- Prepare financial statements for a variety of entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs, and sole traders
- Prepare and lodge income tax returns for individuals and entities
- Handle Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
- Provide professional advice and consultations to clients
Who We’re Looking For
- Relevant tertiary accounting qualification
- CA (Aus/NZ) or CPA candidate
- 3–5 years’ experience in Public Practice
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Eagerness to grow professionally and take on new challenges
- Experience with SMSF financials (BGL/Sage) and accounting software such as Xero, Sage HandiLedger, MYOB, or QuickBooks
